They're All Gonna Laugh At You

Another poster I did of a character from a favorite 70s movie. Creepy Carrie White who allegedly burns in Hell. In her last half-second of happiness. CARRIE is definitely one of my favorites. It hold up, and is still just as nightmarish and heartbreaking as it was when it came out. The rare movie based on a Stephen King story that's actually better than the book.

Nevertheless, I Think You're Upsetting People

One more. This time it's Bud Cort as Harold from another favorite 70s film HAROLD AND MAUDE. I'm trying to do more and more realistic shading as I go forward with these posters.

Space Racist

One last poster for a while. This is a character from the Original Star Trek series named Bele; played by the great Frank Gorshin.

Your Humble Narrator

Here's Alex from A CLOCKWORK ORANGE. I guess you could say he's the title character of the film. Same poster style. I use Adobe Illustrator for most of the black lines in these drawings, and then I take it into Photoshop and add the colors and the textures and type, etc... I like using Illustrator files in Photoshop and keeping the line drawing as a Smart Object so I can still tweak the major part of the image as vector art in Illustrator and it updates in the Photoshop file when I save it.

PHOEEEEEEEEENIX!!!

Here's the title character from the film PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE, done in the same poster style as some recent things I've been doing.
